Salary Range:  Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Location:  Oklahoma City, OK

The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Grant Administrator for our Administration and Victim Services Units.

Position Summary:

The Grant Administrator is responsible for grant administration as well as fiscal management to include budgeting, accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and all other aspects of federal and state grants. Job duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Research and apply for available grants to enhance services provided by OAG
  • Prepare and submit grant progress reports and quarterly expenditure reports
  • Assist in the registration process for OAG sponsored Victim Services training
  • Assist with securing conference and training venues
  • Prepare financial status reports and account reconciliations
  • Maintain grant ledgers, and all other financial requirements for grant programs
  • Prepare purchase orders, change orders, and contracts for vendors
  • Receive, review, and process monthly request for funds from grant recipients
  • Request drawdown of funds from the federal or state granting agency
  • Review and process expense vouchers, invoices, and other fiscal documents for payment
  • Reconcile various financial reports and other data concerning fiscal operations
  • Analyze budget requirements, payroll data, allocation of funds to various accounts or functions
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and government accounting experience. Applicants must have grant administration experience; knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to prepare, review and analyze financial reports. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience with the State of Oklahoma’s financial computer systems and state government accounting procedures.
