The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Chief, Assistant Attorney General for our new Human Trafficking Unit.

Position Summary:

The Human Trafficking Unit investigates, prosecutes, and collects data on matters related to human trafficking in Oklahoma. The Human Trafficking Unit will play a leading role in formulating and implementing enforcement initiatives, as well as developing a human trafficking data repository to strategically assist internal and external law enforcement partners. The Chief, Assistant Attorney General will organize, direct, and supervise the Unit. They will be responsible for assigning, directing, evaluating and coaching the work of subordinate attorneys, investigators, and support staff. The successful candidate will have outstanding legal and prosecutorial judgment and be able to effectively and professionally research, prepare, analyze and understand complex information and legal issues. This position may require some travel, both within and outside the State.


Applicants must be a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma with a minimum of 5 years in the practice of law. Strong writing and oral advocacy skills are a must. Preference may be given to candidates with experience leading a team, and/or experience with data analytics.
